JACK K CAMERON-POLL
Jack is a multidisciplinary artist who uses his mediums to divulge the bitter and sweet aspects of mental health and the human experience. He has combined these pursuits to create The Animal Minds Trilogy, a fifty-minute series of short films, including sci-fi, horror, and fantasy tales.
Jack funds his projects by monetising the series he’s created in digital painting and analogue photography. The Portal Painting series features five massive sci-fi landscape pieces that can be explored on the website, each comprising one hundred hours of work. This series was seen in Geekdom, a pop-culture store in New South Wales.
His untitled street photography series in Australia and across Asia features 50 meticulously curated pieces. His main inspirations include William Eggleston, Michael Whelan, and Simon Stålenhag.
Future projects include animated and live-action films in the Mad Worlds Universe, the universe in which his Cornered Angels and his paintings are set.
Before tackling those demanding projects, he will write and produce a feature film. Potential scripts feature cosmic-horror, psychological thriller themes.
Jack also plans to create a second volume of the Portal Painting series and enlarge his analogue photography series in partnerships with galleries.
